Lesley— Office Manager
Lesley received her education at Carencro High School, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Coastal Caroling Community College. She has worked in her field for over 15 years and all but her first three of those years have been with Dr. Price. When asked what motivates her to come to work every day, she says, “My work family and our wonderful patients.” She particularly enjoys being able to help patients who are very anxious about getting dental work done: seeing their faces transform from fear to happy smiles is very gratifying.
Lesley has been married to a wonderful husband for 18 years, and they have a beautiful daughter and three poodles, a tiny toy, a toy, and a standard. When she is not working, Lesley enjoys planning family vacations, making memories, and biking, boating, fishing, and reading.
Laycie— Clinical Lead
A native of Lafayette, Laycie has been in the field for over 20 years and has spent more than the last four of those with Dr. Price. She received her schooling at Acadiana High School, and loves Lafayette for both the wonders of the food and the strength and companionship of family. Laycie is married with one son, one daughter, and a cat named Meaux Meaux, she is currently in the midst of remodeling her house, and loves to travel.
When asked what motivates her to come to work every day, she says the staff and patients along with her desire to help people smile more. In addition, she says she loves helping people feel better about coming to the dentist and, ultimately, helping feel better about themselves.
Ciara— Registered Dental Hygienist, Hygiene Lead
Ciara loves this area—the Cajun culture, beautiful scenery, the festivals. Every chance she gets she dashes to New Orleans. But, when she’s at work she’s just as happy. She’s passionate about helping people develop healthy smiles. Seeing their smiles transforms feels like she’s making a difference. The office is a delightful place to work. Everyone treats both patients and co-workers like family.
Ashleigh— Financial Coordinator
For the past 7 years, Ashleigh has worked in Home Infusion Therapy. She felt it was time for a change and has worked for Dr. Price since May of 2018. She loves it here. She said, “The staff make it so enjoyable to come to work every day. Everyone works together as a team and are always willing to go the extra mile for one another!”
She and her boyfriend (a Captain with the Broussard Fire Department & Youngsville Fire Department) just purchased a house in Youngsville. They’re looking forward to many years here. In her spare time, Ashleigh loves to go rabbit hunting, spend time with friends and family, as well as travel.
Leah— Treatment Plan Coordinator
Leah always wanted to work in a field where she could interact with people on a personal level. Dentistry seemed like a perfect fit. She finds particular joy when she gets to watch a patient’s smile transform and see them blossom with joy and confidence. Working with a group of women who share her same goals gives her an unexpected motivation. Leah’s worked in the dental field for 17 years.
Born and raised in this area, Leah couldn’t imagine raising a family anywhere else. She and her husband have two teenage boys and two pups. She loves watching them play sports, traveling with her family, and going to Disney World when they can.
Hillary— Hygiene Coordinator
Hillary received her education at Vermillion Catholic High School and the Southwest Dental Academy before coming to work for Dr. Price. She had always been very conscientious about oral hygiene, and chose to study at the Dental Academy, where she fell in love with the dental field. She says her co-workers motivate her to continue doing better, and she loves the positive atmosphere and the fact that the patients are always leaving feeling better and happier than when they came in.
Hillary is happily married to her husband, Matt. They love to spoil their adorable puppy, Tug. When she is not working, she enjoys watching movies, going to the gym, and helping friends and family with their interior design challenges.
Madison— Insurance Coordinator
Madison is a nursing student who started working with us in 2017. She wanted to spend some time in the dental industry during her nursing studies in order to obtain a better understanding of how dental health affects a patient’s overall health.
When she’s not working or studying, she enjoys spending times with family and friends, working out, shopping, and watching Netflix.
Whitney— Registered Dental Hygienist
Whitney has had a lifelong love of beautiful teeth and smiles. Helping patients realize their health goals, especially after a large treatment plan, gives her great joy. Getting to know her patients motivates her to come to work every day. Hearing about their lives and getting to know them along with her fantastic co-workers makes her day pass quickly.
When she’s not working, she’s spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. She’s also passionate about the food in the area, hiking, photography, and Harry Potter.
Micah— Dental Assistant
Micah lives with her mom Betsy, her dad Ryan, her three little brothers Payton, Ezra, and Zayne, and a cat named Lana. She also has an older sister named Taylor whose involvement in the dental field inspired Micah to pursue her education at the Southwest Dental Academy here in Lafayette.
She finds caring for patients particularly satisfying, saying, “I love making sure they are comfortable and happy.” The relationships she has with both patients and co-workers motivate her to come to work each day.
When she is not working, Micah likes to go shopping and hang out with friends. She also loves singing at her church and creating things through art.
Samantha— Dental Assistant
Samantha was born in Cincinnati but raised in Carencro, Louisiana. Her caring nature is what drew her to dentistry. She wanted a career where she’d genuinely get to make others happy. The most satisfying part of her job is when she gets to make a patient feel better both physically and emotionally.
A graduate of Southwest Dental School, LLC, she started working for Dr. Price in 2017. “When I leave for work every day, I know I am coming to a great team who cares about our patients and we all work together to get the best results.”
Mackenzie was born and raised in Rayne, LA. She started working for Dr. Price & Associates in 2018 and loves it. “Everyone here is so friendly and they make you feel like family,” she said. Mackenzie has also loved living in Acadiana. “The people are friendly and you can’t find better food anywhere.”
She decided to get into dentistry in order to help people and change the way they feel about their smile. The most satisfying part of her job is watching people walk out more confident about their smile.
Mackenzie and her husband, Tyler have been married since 2016. They have a daughter and a fur baby. Both of whom are massively spoiled. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
