Dr. Price grew up loving the dentist. This made her a bit of an outsider in her family, which spent their lives tentative about going to the dentist.
Seeing their fear is one of the factors which led her to the dental profession. One of her goals is to help patients feel as comfortable going to the dentist as she did growing up.
To pursue that dream, Dr. Price earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2002. After her undergrad, she went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the LSU Dental School in New Orleans in 2006.
After her doctorate, Dr. Price moved back to Lafayette to be near family and practice dentistry in her hometown. She loves getting to know her patients and wants them to feel like family.
She loves helping fearful patients experience pain-free dental care, sometimes for the first time in their lives. Once they’re comfortable in the dental chair, they can move onto bigger goals. “I love giving my patients the smile they never dreamed they could have,” Dr. Price said.
When you’re passionate about your field, you never stop learning. Dr. Price invests in post-graduate training at over twice the rate required by the state, earning more than 100 hours every two years. She will always keep on the cutting edge of technology and developments in order to care for her family of patients the best way possible.
In addition to serving the community as a trusted oral health provider, Dr. Price loves serving as a Eucharistic Minister and Edge Youth Group Minister. Her strong faith helps her to maintain a positive attitude and keep the well-being of others as her central focus, inside and outside the operatory.
One of her biggest joys is spending time with her husband Jeremy, their two children, A.J. and Marissa, and their dog Louie. Marissa plays travel volleyball and the fiddle, and A.J. plays football and baseball. Both children are Altar Servers at their church. When they’re not at church, you can often find their family attending LSU and UL sporting events.
When Dr. Chelsea Guilliot was in high school and starting to consider her future, she developed a toothache. As she was getting dental work done to relieve her pain, she decided that she was meant to do dentistry.
The art involved in dentistry fascinated her, and she realized how much she always loved her dentist. Additionally, she knew most people hated going to the dentist, so she decided she wanted to change that. Dentistry was the perfect career choice because it combines her love of the arts with her passion for caring for people. “I want to change how people perceive going to the dentist and make it an enjoyable experience rather than dreadful!” said Dr. Guilliot.
And that is what she did. Dr. Guilliot received her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Guilliot started working with Dr. Price at the beginning of 2018. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she met her husband while in dental school and chose to live in his hometown. When asked what she liked about her new home, Dr. Guilliot replied, “Louisiana is unlike anywhere else I’ve lived. The sense of community is much stronger and close-knit. The people in the Acadiana area really make you feel at home.”
As a passionate dentist, Dr. Guilliot dedicates every day to treating patients so they are no longer in pain. Additionally, it delights her to see her patients walk away from the chair with a genuine smile. Cosmetic cases have a special place in Dr. Guilliot’s heart. She’s expanding her skills in that area by studying dental implants and hopes to be placing them in the near future. She says, “There’s no better feeling than when a patient can’t stop smiling after seeing you.”
Dr. Chelsea is married to Dr. Jared Guilliot, who works as a general dentist in the downtown Lafayette area with his father Dr. Albert Guilliot. At home, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, crafting and DIY projects, baking, and having fun with their two dogs, Nola and Ringo.
Lesley received her education at Carencro High School, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Coastal Carolina Community College. She has worked in her field for over 15 years and all but the first three of those years have been with Dr. Price. When asked what motivates her to come to work every day, Lesley says, “My work family and our wonderful patients.” She particularly enjoys being able to help patients who are very anxious about getting dental work done, as seeing their faces transform from fear to happy smiles is very gratifying.
Lesley has been married to her wonderful husband for 19 years. They have a beautiful daughter and three poodles: a tiny toy, a toy, and a standard. When she is not working, Lesley enjoys family vacations, making memories, and biking, boating, fishing, and reading.

In her spare time, Ashleigh loves to visit her parents in New Roads, LA, travel, and she loves trying out new restaurants.
